July – Energy Givers

Sadly, more than 25% of United States adults are feeling overwhelmed and exhausted by stress according to the 2022 APA national survey on stress. Continued stress can really consume a large amount of our energy and create fatigue. To avoid energy drain and fatigue we need to determine what drains our energy and what provides us with more energy so we can free ourselves from these stressors. Here are some are things to consider:
Energy Takers
- Social media and the news
- People pleasing
- Fear
- Doubt
- Dehydration
- Food (not enough or junk food)
- Overworking
- Lack of exercise or movement
- Setting unrealistic goals
Energy Givers
- Sunlight and nature
- Nourishing food
- Exercise and movement
- Water
- Fresh air
- Music and sounds
- Positive connections and self-care
- Prayer/meditation
- Sleep
- Love and relationships
- Creativity
The good news is there are more Energy Givers than Energy Takers surrounding us. It is up to us to surround ourselves with the Energy Givers to be able to minimize the stress, anxiety and fatigue. I would love to help you gain more energy with a sound therapy session or sound bath.
