December – Winter Solstice
“The light of the winter solstice is a reminder that the darkest days are only temporary” ― unknown
We just experienced winter solstice in the northern hemisphere, which is the shortest day and longest night of the year. Emotionally this can be difficult of those of use who live in areas that do no see much sunlight in the winter. You hear about seasonal depression or may even experience it yourself. I am sure you have also felt like staying home and snuggling in. We tend to hibernate a little more during this period of darkness.
I know I feel less active during winter. I need to typically remind myself the sunshine is coming and I need this time to rest and restore. My mind and body need time to slow down and reflect on the past year. I need to be present with my family and friends during the holiday season. I can then prepare for the year ahead.
I challenge you to use these days of little sunshine to relax. Take care of yourself, make meaningful connections, and be present in all that you may need to do. If you are feeling like you may need a boost or are slipping into emotions making you stuck, let me help. Sound is a great way to help keep your vibration and energy at a higher level. The frequencies can also assist with relieving any difficult emotional situations that may have appeared during the holiday season.
Wishing you a peaceful start to your new year with more sunshine ahead!
